Gabriele and Drew have been dating each other since they were in college! It’s obvious these two have been together for a long time as they are so comfortable around each other. They got engaged recently and are so excited for married life soon! We took their engagement photos in Chicago, IL at North Avenue Beach! It was a chilly February afternoon but they both braved the cold and it absolutely paid off because they were so cute!

North Avenue Beach is one of the most iconic spots in Chicago, so that's where we met up for their couples photos. They have timeless outfits, nothing like a cute spring dress to brighten up the photos. We focused on getting playful shots that showed their personalities and some more traditional posed ones to look back on.

As a Chicago wedding photographer I love shooting at North Avenue Beach. There is something about the combination of Navy Pier, the skyline, and Lake MI that encompasses the entire city of Chicago in one spot.

Being a Chicago Wedding Photographer allows me to experience an array of monumental moments throughout people's lives. I think there is something particularly special about the season of engagement. There is something that is brimming with joy during this time of inbetween, more than a partner but not quite a spouse. I love seeing the excitement bubble up between my couples. I cannot wait to watch Gabriele and Drew grow as a couple through the years.
